Message from our president
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT – Dave George
Now that it is vacation week/weeks, sled traffic will be busy so be careful and enjoy the snow. Thank you to all the groomers and maintenance help. These people work hard to keep the trails in good shape for everyone's fun. Thanks also to the people who donate money to help keep us running. We are now mid season and hopefully it lasts well into April.
Remember also that we have multiuse trails and keep your speed in check. If you see something in the trail, stop and move it or report it to us. We constantly see people riding around simple things like branches and don't bother to just shake them to get the heavy snow off and clear the trail. Little things like this go a long way to keeping the trails nice and flat.
Memberships and registrations are available at Charrette Floor, Bartons Motorsports, Canoe King, or Profile powersports. Ask for a Scrub Oak Scramblers membership. They have cards and then you can register right away. If you don't specify our club you may not get our membership form!
Maps are being distributed and more are on the way.
We still need a secretary, financial committee and house committee volunteers. If we don't have enough open house hosts, we won't be able to open the clubhouse for lunch so please consider hosting an open house during the riding season. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire.
See you on the trails!!
