Start Date: 16 August 2019

End Date: 18 August 2019

Time: 03:00pm

Place: SACO RIVER / THE BEACH CAMPGROUND / NORTH CONWAY

To all, this year’s River run will once again include a weekend of camping. We have reserved 9 sites at “The Beach Campground” in North Conway. We will be camping Friday August 16th – Sunday August 18th. We will do our river run down the Saco from first bridge to the campground on Saturday the 17th. There has been some conversation of possibly floating on tubes this year!

Campers and tents are welcome. Current sites are 27 – 32 / 43 & 44 (includes 27a)  if you want to view the campgrounds map on their website @ thebeachcampingarea.com

The camp sites are being paid for by the club utilizing summer event funding to help make this a free event for our members. If you are interested in joining in on the fun, let us know.

If we need more sites we may be able to get them but will need to know as soon as possible.  We can add people to the sites if needed however there may be additional charges that we can discuss as a group if needed. Dogs are welcome at the campground but require a $3.00 a night fee which would need to be covered by the owners of the dog. Also verification of rabies certificate required.

If you are interested in joining us for the weekend or have any questions please contact Sean Pinard @ 603-785-4907 or via e-mail @ smpinard@roadrunner.com

You can also join us for just the river run on Saturday as well if you will not be camping with us.

This is our third trip and is set up to be a “no cost” to our members but depending on how many join there could be added cost i.e. site charges, taxes and fees. If funding allows the club will assist but we as a group may be responsible. Please contact for questions if you have any!

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE. THIS WILL BE A GREAT TIME!

Ok all, so I may have jumped the gun a little. Trying to hook up with a local company to transport and get us on the river has been a logistical nightmare. However I did manage to find a spot to put in the river downstream near the rail road bridge. This should give us a good 2 – 2 ½ tube ride on tubes depending on the current. Recent consensuses has indicated tubing instead of kayaking. Our normal put in spot would be a good 8 hours on a tube. Please let me know if you are interested in tubing instead. We will still do this on our own however transporting tubes will be less work and by road is only about 5-8 min up the road where will put in. If it is much shorter will can just hang in the river or back at our campsites. Either way it will be fun. You will need to provide tubes for yourselves. We can also blow them up when we get to the loading area if needed. Please let me know either on this post or email me at smpinard@roadrunner.com. It would be nice to get a head count early.  I am thinking heading up river at 11:00 am

Reminder I have 2 sites available for campers and plenty of tent room. If you are a member the site is paid for by the club for 2 nights. Our gift to our members in the off season.
