State Chain Saw Training Class

SOS will be hosting the state chainsaw safety class. 

Class size 15 Max 

Saturday Sept 13th 

Location SOS Clubhouse 368 Pound Road Madison NH 03849

Clubs that are required to have the class per DNCR guidelines will have priority up to the 2 members.

Class will typically run from 9am to 3pm.

What to bring to class if you have it.

• Lunch
• Water 
• PPE (chainsaw chap, helmets, eye/ ear protection)
• Safety toes boots (steel/ composite toe) or safety toe boot covers
• Long pants
• Gloves 
• Gas Powered saw (if you have one (can share))
• 50:1 mixed Gas and Bar oil
• Chainsaw maintenance tools (screnches, files etc.) I will also be bringing a toolbox full of screnches, files, vices and other chainsaw maintenance devices that is available for everyone in the class to use. 
• If people do not have PPE, I do have a limited amount of teaching PPE I can share if needed. (5 helmets, 4 chaps, 3 sets of safety toe cover)

• Anything else saw related you would like to bring.
