June 14th, 2016To all our friends and members, we have been asked by Profile Powersports to help out with their RV/Car Show, Saturday July 30th from 10:00 – 4:00. They have asked us to handle the food for the event.
All proceeds of the food booth to go to our club.
Mike Roberts and Dave George are heading this event up but they will need some help!
If you are willing to help out Please let us know! You can respond to this post or e-mail sosclub@sossc.com or call Sean Pinard @ 603-785-4907
This will be a great fundraiser for us as well as great PR and helping one of our local dealers.
45th Easter Seals Ride-In For Camp-Sno-Mo
May 22nd, 2016To all, mark your calendars. The Forty Fifth anniversary Easter Seal Ride-In to benefit Camp Sno-Mo will be at Town & Country in Gorham NH Feb 3rd – 5th. The theme this year will be Mardi-Gras so it should be a good time. We will be once again booking rooms at midnight on the date they allow us to book and will be booking all together again. We would like to once again make a hit at the ride-in especially after our win last year and being voted the best club for 2016 by NHSA this past weekend. We would like to be even bigger and make a bigger impression for the 45 ride-in. We will be working throughout the year on our ideas and building our decorations and possibly a float for the parade, Lets win the parade this year! We would also like to walk away with the most amount of club members attending again for 2017!
We had a great time last year even without the snow, and YES, NERF GUN WARS ARE ON AGAIN NEXT YEAR SO GEAR UP AND START COLLECTING BULLETS AND UPGRADING YOUR GUNS IF NEEDED! I have a box of safety glasses for this year!
Lisa Charrette has once again volunteered to head this up. She will be handling booking. We Currently have 20 rooms booked to us, 16 (the entire building in the back last years area) and 4 at the end of the next building. This includes 2 suites!
Please let us know if you are interested! You can let us know if you would like a room by emailing Lisa @ sosclub@sossc.com. Do not contact the hotel directly Lisa will handle this! If you have idea’s for decorations or floats let us know. Believe it or not we have already begun. We will have some room in our budgets for supplies but any help from our members would be great let us know what you can do. Also stay tuned for fundraisers we do, where proceeds go to Camp-Sno-Mo via the event, we want to kill our donations again next year.
Many of us head up early on Thursday night for a nice relaxing night prior to the festivities! We even have a few ride up from Madison so let us know if you are interested in the ride! It is about 2 ½ hours by trail!
There are many activities during the event to include auctions, costume parade, buffet dinner and breakfast, shows, face painting, poker run, scavenger hunt and more! Well of course some great riding!
