Trail Update
To all we have had some decent snow however, it packs down a lot, we also have had warm weather & rain. The bigger storm was mostly powder so that packs 8”-10” down to 1”-2”. We still have many trails with rocks, stumps and water bars showing, we are trying to pack and get them ready, but it is also hard on the equipment, that being said if the tuckers and drags are getting beat up do you really want to ride on that? We realistically need another good 10”-12” of wet heavy snow and keep the cold temps to be able to open up the trail system. We know many of the areas are covered but for snowmobiling that is not enough. The drags and tuckers are pushing through to the dirt.
Currently we remain closed, that means no riding on the trails, we have been seeing marks out there and noting people going around the gates. The gates are remining closed until we can open and even if they are open if the trails are listed as closed you should still not be out there.
We will continue to have work parties as we have plenty of brushing to do, stay tuned for more info and hopefully the announcement of the trails open soon!
