2020 Grass Drags Update

July 13th, 2020

To all, it is with great sadness that we advise you in the wake of COVID-19, NHSA and the town of Freemont have made the extremely difficult decision to cancel this year’s Grass Drags and Water crossing event. Be advised this decision did not come lightly and we all were hopeful it was going to happen.

Many clubs, vendors, NHSA, the Town of Freemont and many others benefit from this event. We hope to see you all in 2021. Below is a note from NHSA.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support. The snowmobile community, town officials, emergency responders, vendors, competitors, volunteers and residents have been instrumental in the success the NH grass drags and watercross. The NHSA volunteers thank you and are already planning for an exciting return in 2021

March Meeting Canceled

March 17th, 2020

To all, unfortunately given all the concerns with COVID-19 we will be canceling our meeting this coming Saturday however we are postponing the Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner till our April Meeting provided we are back on track at that point. If you are around this weekend and available we will still be doing some work around the trails and clubhouse. If you are willing to join us come on by, please if you can bring your own personal protection i.e. gloves wipes, hand sanitizer. We will follow procedures to keep our distances and keep a no contact thought process. This of course if nothing else changes. Rest assure this was not an easy decision by the BOD and was made in hopes of being a part of the solution to all we are experiencing right now. We wish you all the best and stay safe out there.

Trails Closed

March 6th, 2020

It is with great sadness I post this! Based on the info we have from our Groomer Operators the trails have deteriorated enough to close the system! We will be closing all gates! Unless winter comes back hard and heavy they will remain closed! Please do not go around gates and respect our landowners by staying off the trails! It was a great season for what we had and we appreciate you all for riding, coming by the club and helping out when needed! Thank you all, SOSSC
