Fred Jones Bridge Dedication The Fred Jones Bridge Dedications was a huge success! We had a ton of people show and managed to pull off a great BBQ on the bridge itself. The memorial sign was absolutely beautiful! We will be getting a second and eventually will be permanently mounted on either end of the
Hi all we will be meeting at the Kiosk in Nature Conservancy’s Parking lot across from Black Birch Lane on Rt. 41 in Madison at 1:30 pm for the dedication at 2PM on Saturday November 9th. We will shuttle people in from there. There will be a short ceremony followed by a cookout supplied by
Saturday November 9th @ 2:00 pm we will be dedicating the new west branch bridge in the memory of Fred Jones! We will have the dedication at the bridge location with a BBQ to follow. Please let any member of the Board know if you plan to attend so we have a count as we need this
Thank you all that helped and attended the SOS food booth at the Danforth Bay Campground Camping and RV Show. The event was a success! We had a great time. The Grass Drags Were a Huge Success, We sold out of all food except hamburgers and cheeseburgers! We even sold out of some of the drinks! We had a great time! Friday was a sunny day and was a little slow however Saturday although cold and a little rainy proved too big the big day
To all, we are still looking for more help for the Grass Drags. We are setting up Thursday night the 10th approx 5:00-6:00pm and finish Friday morning to be ready for Friday 2:00pm. The drags are open Friday the 11th 2:00 – 9:00 and Sat & Sun the 12th-13th 9:00 – 6:00. Our booth will
The Grass Drags are less than a month away. We are looking for volunteers to work the SOS food booth. Once again we will be selling our famous turkey legs as well as hamburgers, hotdogs, Italian sausage and pulled pork sandwiches! We are looking for members to help with cooking, serving and any other function
We will be packing up the trailer for the Grass Drags at 8:00am on Saturday October 5th. We will be making this a day long event. We are going to cook the pork butts using the smoker and pull all the meat for our pulled pork sandwiches. We will also be prepping onions and any
Trail work has started every Saturday except for Grass Drag Sat the 12th through trails open in mid Dec and depending on snow they may go longer! Meet at the club house @ 7 am for breakfast. We like to be on the trails by 8:00 This is a great way to help the club
