Winter Carnival

Winter Carnival is currently scheduled for Saturday February 14th, 2026

A no snow date is set for Saturday February 21st, 2026

Carnival being held on the Air Strip / Freedom Town Forrest on our system in Freedom, GPS Coordinates 43.8185654, -71.1346512. View our map and or the on-line app for trail directions. Some of our junctions’ signs state which way to go and almost all have temporary signs showing the way to Winter Carnival. Follow the signs to the fun!

Items at Winter Carnival will be…..

Radar Run- $15.00 a run or 3 runs for $25.00! Sled must be registered. Waivers are to be signed, including parental signatures for minors. Registration 10-2ish, try to beat your friends for bragging rights.

The radar run is 660 Feet!

*Poker Run $5 hand, Extra hands available. 6th card swap for an extra $1.00. Cash Prize. Registration 10am-12noon Return by 2:30 (non-riders allowed) We will have 5 stops along our system at our Junctions, all with chips to collect and you get your hand back at the carnival when you return.

Many raffle items will be available, they are still coming in so we are not listing, we always have plenty of gift certificates to raffle! Come by if you are interested.

*Food Concession- May include but not limited to, Burgers, Dogs, Chili, Soups, Mac & Cheese, French Fries, turkey legs, desserts, hot coffee, tea & chocolate, water, soda and Gatorade.

Our club equipment will be there for viewing, maybe you can grab a ride in the gator or a Tucker. A Porta Potty will be on site.

We will also have a small course for the little guys and gals to run with their sleds out of the way of the main group and plenty of room for them to ride on their own in viewing range.

You can ride in from corridor 19 from “F” Junction. There is also parking available at White Lake State Park in Tamworth on Rt 16 also ride in from corridor 19, head north to F Junction.

There are signs at the junction of 41 and Ossipee Lake Road for the event / Ossipee Parking Lot

To all, per the trail master all the trails are now open!

Most are in good to great shape expect early season conditions, some may be thin & still have some hazards, rocks stumps & water bars!

All Gates are Open!

The groomers will continue to groom & work the trails keep an eye out for them.

The clubhouse will be open this Saturday 11:00-4:00 for heat, food & share a good story or 2!

Ride Safe, have fun & please do not disrespect our landowners & their property. We don’t want to close or have permanent issues.

To all, per the trail master all but one trail is currently open. even with the snow we received trails remain thin still have some hazards, rocks stumps & water bars but all in all pretty good shape.

To all, per the trail master we will be opening most of the system, the groomers have been out doing what they can as well as checking the trails!

Trails that currently remaining closed

The powerline trail near lead mine between D & E

The Chimney Trail from P junction to X to the Chimney as well as the young’s hill trail.

Gates are open except the gate at P junction

All other trails will remain closed due to conditions. The website & app will be updated.

Conditions will be marginal with possible rocks, stumps, debris, water bars & low snow.

Do not ride on closed trails.

Remember just because a gate is open does not mean the trail is open.
